This charming watercolour shows a view near Harrogate, Yorkshire. By the Bradford born watercolour painter John Sowden (1838-1926), "Tang Beck near Hampsthwaite" measures 7"x 5" and is signed lower left. It is mounted and framed into a period gilt frame giving an overall size of 14"x 12".
