Arthur Claude Strachan (1865-1938) was a Scottish born watercolour painter. He studied art at Liverpool and exhibited his paintings throughout  the  U.K. The present work "Aldington near Evesham" is a lovely example measuring 12" x 18". It is framed in a quality gilt frame giving an overall size of 18" x 25"
