Before World War I he moved to Newlyn, then lived in Penzance, St Ives and Helston and in his final year in Torquay, Devon. Showed at RA, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, elsewhere in the provinces and was included in "A Century of Art in Cornwall 1889–1989", Newlyn Orion Galleries, 1989.
