"The Day the Fair came to Town" is a watercolour measuring 12"x 16". It is signed "Atherton" and inscribed on the back in a later hand with the title "The Day the Fair came to Town, Taylors Electrical Fun Fairs, John Smith Atherton, Todmorden".
It is signed "Atherton" lower left and is framed giving an overall size of 20"x 25".
