"The Devil's Arrows, Near Boroughbridge", Yorkshire, is a lovely old copper-plate engraving published May 18th 1778 by Buck & Feary. It is mounted and framed giving an overall size of 24" x 29".
The Devil's Arrows consists of three huge stones that remain from an original four or five that stood in a southeast to northwest alignment less than 200 metres from the modern day A1(M) motorway. They date from either the late Neolithic or early Bronze Age.
