Tom Dudley (1857-1935) was born in York and first trained as an architect. He took lessons from William James Boddy and is known for his townscapes mainly painted in watercolours. His work was shown in public and private galleries throughout the U.K.
"The King's Manor" York is a watercolour measuring 13"x 9". It is signed lower right and inscribed with the title and is mounted giving an overall size of 19"x 15".
