G. Thompson "The Four Seasons" set of mezzotints

This rare set of four mezzotints "The Four Seasons" each measure 13"x 10" and are in nice old hogarth frames giving a size of 16"x 13" overall for each picture. Each was published in London July 19th 1796 by "G. Thompson, No. 50, Old Bailey" and "G. Evans, No. 41 & 42, Long Lane, West Smithfield". Each is inscribed with the title "Spring", "Summer", "Autumn" and "Winter", along with the publication details.
