This watercolour painting by the Wensleydale artist Henrietta Lister is signed lower left and is dated 1947. On the reverse is an old label for Thomas Wood & Sons, Fine Art Gallery, Darlington with the inscription "Sod Hall Bridge, Coverdale, Swept away in Floods, 1947". It is mounted into a simple original oak frame giving an overall size of 19"x 22".
