GEORGE HAMILTON CONSTANTINE
(1878-1967)

At the start of this section we have an outstanding group of watercolours by this Yorkshire born landscape painter.
Constantine was born in Sheffield in 1878 and studied at Sheffield College of Art.
He became Director of Graves Art Gallery in Sheffield,and as a member of the Sheffield School of Artists he exhibited at many good Galleries including the Royal Academy, Carlisle Academy, Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts, Manchester Gallery and Lancashire galleries.
These watercolours have never before been framed so are in excellent original condition with stunning fresh unfaded colours.
