A very good example of "Sweetbrier," the racehorse, by George Townly Stubbs, "Republished June 4th 1817 by Edward Orme". The engraving measures 16" x 20" and is framed giving an overall size of 20"x 24". Sweetbrier raced for Lord Grosvenor in 1773 - 1775, retiring to stud unbeaten. In the background is Lord Grosvenor’s stud farm at Oxcroft, Cambridgeshire.
